Blockchains and The Unified Field Theory of Everything

The introduction of cryptocurrencies has represented the birth of a new universe within cyberspace. A technological singularity, whose scope and reach is so wide and far-fetched, that we can barely wrap our minds around it. It’s a rabbit hole with infinite potential.

We are effectively witnessing a Big Bang happening before our eyes. We are still in its early stages, where the laws of “crypto-physics” are still largely undefined. Particles within our universe can become largely analogous to crypto-tokens, whilst forces can be modelled by concepts such as smart contracts, and the notion of value itself, which will most likely end up being represented through BTC.

The Emergence of Our Universe

Perhaps, with time, the emergent laws will converge towards the same laws that govern our own universe.

This would confirm the simulation hypothesis, as popularized by Nick Bostrom, and also perhaps help us come up with a full model for the Unified Field Theory of Everything.

A fascinating aspect of this “crypto-birth”, is that the majority of our computational resources are naturally converging towards sustaining the eventual super-network of blockchains and their interactions, starting with Bitcoin. The Bitcoin Network by itself, is now 867,000 times faster than the most powerful supercomputer.

As some final food for thought, consider this verse from the Bible:

“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”

In academic religious thought, Jesus is considered to be the embodiment of truth.

One can make the rather bold assertion, that blockchains are able to bring actual truth to our world, through which we can come to understand the fundamental nature of our very own universe. One could go so far as calling it a second coming.
